🥋 Da Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Day 2: Beauchemin-Pinard, Ahadov, Taimazova and Karapetyan Take Home Gold! 🏅 Da second day of da Abu Dhabi Grand Slam was lit wit electrifying judo action!

Canadian powerhouse Beauchemin-Pinard came out on top in da -63kg category wit a jaw-dropping move dat had everyone’s jaws droppin’! She said, I did dis technique called ura-nage.

When she attacked me, I took her halfway and used my legs to lift her up in da air. It’s not somethin’ I do often but when it works, it’s a big win!

Beauchemin-Pinard stayed calm from warm-up all da way to the rostrum as she claimed gold. Uzbekistan danger-man Ahadov had somethin’ to prove after takin’ bronze last year.

He put on an epic performance in da final against Kosovo’s Gjakova and walked away wit his first grand slam title. Ahadov said with confidence, I feel so relaxed here in Abu Dhabi; it feels like home.

Last year I won bronze here and now I got my first Grand Slam gold medal. At upcoming events and at the Olympics, I’m gonna go for gold again!

In-da women’s -70kg division Madina Taimazova dominated Sweden’s rising star Ida Eriksson for a strong victory. And let me tell you about dat final match at -81kg between David Karapetyan from Armenia 🇦🇲and Frank De Wit from Holland 🇳🇱 – both athletes were flyyyyying through the air!

But Karapetyan managed to score big points that secured him the win!

🥋 The second day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam was filled with electrifying judo action! 🏅 Canadian powerhouse Beauchemin-Pinard emerged as the champion in the -63kg category with a jaw-dropping move that left everyone amazed!

It’s not something I do often, but when it works, it’s a big win! Beauchemin-Pinard remained calm from warm-up until she stood on top of the podium to claim gold.

Uzbekistan’s Ahadov had something to prove after winning bronze last year. He put on an epic performance in the final against Kosovo’s Gjakova and walked away with his first grand slam title.

Ahadov confidently stated, I feel so relaxed here in Abu Dhabi; it feels like home. Last year I won bronze here and now I have my first Grand Slam gold medal.
