OpenAI Letting You Make Your Own AI Chatbot, No Coding Needed! 🤖💬 Wassup everybody!

OpenAI stay back at it again with some big news. Remember when they dropped ChatGPT?

Da chatbot dat can do any kine ting? Well now dey letting you make your own custom version of ChatGPT fo’ all yo’ specific needs.

And da best part is, no coding required! Dey calling dese custom versions GPTs and soon you can get ’em from da GPT Store.

We don’t know too much about how dis store gonna work yet, but OpenAI saying dey gonna pay creators based on how much people use their GPTs. If you one paying subscriber of ChatGPT Plus or an enterprise customer wit OpenAI, den you can even make internal-only GPTS fo’ yo employees.

Dis announcement was made at DevDay in San Francisco where OpenAI hosting their first-ever developer conference (big tings!). Dey also announced a faster and cheaper version called GTP-4 (woah!) plus lower prices for developers using der models in apps (more affordable!).

Oh yeah, and guess what? Over 100 million people using ChatGTP every week!

Das unreal! According to The Verge who got a statement from dem folks at OpenAi: Since launching ChatGTP last year, peeps been asking us if dey could customize it to fit dere needs.

So den in July dey gave us Custom Instructions so we could set our preferences but apparently dat wasn’t enough for some power users out there who had long lists of prompts and instructions they manually copied into the chatbot. But now we lucky cause da new custom versions do all dat hard work for us!

In one demo I saw recently from Alex Heath over at The Verge – shoutout to him – he showed off dis bot called Creative Writing Coach dat could critique a writing sample. And den he saw anodda GPT get spun up to help peeps at DevDay find deir way around da conference.

Dis new platform even let you name yo’ bot, give it a profile picture made by DALL-E (some fancy AI artist), and feed it info like schedules so it can answer questions.
