Business Insider wen say dat da company wen send out new instructions to da big bosses, telling dem dey can now fire workers who stay skipping out on da office mo’ den two days a week, an’ dey even lay out how fo’ do ’em.

According to BI, da inside memo tell da bosses dat, first, dey gotta talk privately wit da workers who no follow da rule an’ if dat no work, dey gotta talk story again. If da worker still no like go back to da office, dey might get da pink slip!

If da worker still no show up aftah da first talk, da managers gotta give ’em one mo’ chance, like 1-2 weeks, depending on da worker’s situation. Da instructions say dis talk gotta remind da worker dat dey gotta go back to da office three days a week, and if dey no follow, dey can get in trouble, maybe even lose deir job!

He also say dat moving to one new place cuz of da job only affect a small numbah of workers, an’ da company go help ’em move. An’ he let everybody know dat dey get one process fo’ exceptions, but dey gotta look at ’em case by case.

Back in August, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy wen say dat da ones still holding out on going back to da office might get in trouble, according to one BI report. Jassy wen talk story, “If you can’t disagree an’ commit, I also understand dat, but it’s probably not gonna work out fo’ you at Amazon because we going back into the office at least three days a week. An’ it’s not right fo’ all our teammates to be in three days a week an’ fo’ people to refuse to do so.”

Amazon’s go-back-to-office rule came aftah dey wen make some changes to da attendance rules during da pandemic, including letting da directors decide in 2021.
